Nestled between Stockwell and Brixton and with its outstanding transport links with underground, over ground rail and buses, Clapham North offers a cheaper alternative to the more pricey Common and South areas but nevertheless a walk away from the action on Clapham High Street. The area can be deemed suitable for students, bankers of the city, proffesionals and creative types of Shoreditch alike. Landor Road which runs from Clapham North tube station to Stockwell Road in Brixton provides a unique disposition on nightlife with some fabulous and unique style bars like the Cuban inspired Bar - Buena Vista (pictured above), The Egyptian inspired Café Cairo and the legendary Landor Pub and Theatre. Dotted at the Stockwell end of Landor road are a selection of authentic Portuguese café’s and Tapas Bars whose prices are significantly desirable compared with Clapham High Street, for example a proper Café Latte and Croissant would cost £2.30 compared to £4.30 on The High Street. Other hidden gems in Clapham North include, Café Nile, Rufies Curry take away and Roti Joupa, all within yards of Clapham North Tube station.

With Pubs and bars featuring Live music, Djs and Chilax roast dinner vibes at the weekends with Football and Rugby screened at the Pubs, plus the occasional trip to Landor theatre Clapham North is an attractive destination for the “Meet and hang out with new Friends” and social group outings type of younger residents.
